Macbeth
Macbeth is a loyal general – until one day, three witches tell him he will be king. This sends him down the path of hunger for power, murder, more murder, insanity and self-destruction. Is he a helpless victim of circumstances, or is he a criminal who misjudges the moral weight of his deeds?
As far as I’m concerned… there are no witches. There is no prophecy. Just Macbeth lost in the deep forest of his ambition. And one day, that forest will come to consume him.
