In about two months time, I’ll be starting my rounds on Fisksoppa – the brilliant webcomic I’m working on with my sister. We draw one chapter each, which ensures that neither of us gets sick of drawing pirates for five months straight – but which also pretty much guarantees I forget how to draw between takes. So here you have me, trying to get back in shape with some light-lifting, I mean warm-up-doodles.
Drawn after Amedeo Preziosi‘s 19th century Ottoman watercolours. He wins a prize for going around with a name that basically translates to For-The-Love-Of-God Precious.
My favourite characters from chapter 4 of Fisksoppa – and they’ll be great once I figure how to draw them.
Yeah… I’ve got nothing. Love this style, can’t really hold on to it in long format comics.
